Back in action with cuties spotted around London. I’m sure you’ve enough about shopping deals and actually buying things this week, so this is more a mood board. Maybe you’ll want to try something new?
A quick scroll through my 28,457 photos and here are some looks I’ve favourited. I’m breaking them into 2-3 parts, as I’ve somehow managed to rack up quite a lot. This one being the London edit, where I spent most of my time over the past two years.
What makes a cutie? Trust at least two of three checked:
Aesthetically considered
They feel comfortable in their own skin
I want to know their life story
Case in point. Would love a low-down on their life… And where are they headed looking so fine?
I don’t know if I’ll ever get there, but I’m not unexcited about having a full head of white hair. Especially if I can wear it with an all white or black outfit. Note the tie at the back.
Something about how they styled the graphic tee with an under-knee multi-layered pleated skirt and the Neo Cagole. Understated maximalist. Also go to Toconoco for me and have their customisable soba/udon, hojicha latte, and a side of rice ball.
When your friend matches a jar of beans, you snap!
Maybe it’s the hair, again?! If my memory is not playing tricks on me now, I think I saw them again another day, wearing this exact outfit.
Recommend going to Wilton Way Deli in the AM (this was just before 10) to journal or read. The day I did this, the morning sun shone through in a way that felt like everything was going to be fine.
It’s the textured shirt and geometric ink for me. Also that they were both dressed so complementarily (photo really doesn’t do this justice).
Pophams transforms into a pasta restaurant at night and I rec going in a small group and trying everything.
I dig the low sling—hot take? I want to know, though, how else have they tried wearing this and what they thought about having it high on the back?
I’m starting to notice that I’m drawn to pops of colour. But mostly I love how one could look so effortlessly chill while working retail. Also I’m personally bought into the jumper over the shoulders look, but has anyone questioned it?
Saw them again another day at Jolene round the corner at Redchurch Street, in impeccable MHL style.
Not all white tee and denim jeans pairings are created equal. The braided ponytail with lil’ blue scrunchie made all the difference, too.
Momosan has a great curation of lifestyle goods by independent craftspeople. Things being on the pricier end—I usually leave empty-handed if not a card or candle—it’s a joy even just to browse.
Turn right as you exit, you’ll pass Wilton Way Deli and then hit Two Doors, a bistro serving a delightful food menu of seasonal local produce.
Not sure what it is about this, but at least two friends made this their lock screens. Maybe it’s the solo date energy that we all crave once in a while. Regarding the hiking boots on shirt on heavy leather bag look, I wonder where the fit choice fell in the function/aesthetic spectrum.
A whole vibe. Mom, do you want to make me a bag like this?
