#12 Objectively season 2
Interviews with creators, collectors, and more
Objectively is a series about our objects and the stories they tell.
We feature creatives who build their lives around objects, including makers, collectors, and curators. Leading with curiosity, the project views objects as an extension and embodiment of humanity, and hopes that exploring our relationship with them gives us new understandings of ourselves.
Hi! After two quiet months on here, I’m excited to be back with the next season of Objectively!
Lots more inspiring minds and some changes to look forward to, so I wanted to come on to share about what you can expect. Like before, we’ll have features around Living with Objects, featuring someone and their chosen three objects, this time from a medley of questions—amongst them about objects that mediate our relationships, and the things we somehow stopped using over time.
Additionally, I’m really excited about introducing Object Talks, a new segment for interviews with creatives who work with objects, such as makers, collectors, and curators. We will have a peek into the inspiration behind their practice, and how their pursuits shape their lives and thinking. If you know me you know that I enjoy sharing stories about creative living, so it feels fitting that the project is heading in this direction.
As the series evolves, I would love to continue to get our stories out there, so I’d really appreciate if you can spread the word about Objectively with the curious minds around you:
Can’t wait to share more soon! Coming up first next week, we have Chantel Foo, an artist, movement director, and model, contemplating life without their phone.
We share a new interview every Thursday. Subscribe here to receive them first:
